Adam has been training parkour since 2010 and teaching since 2014.
At the beginning of his parkour career, he quickly discovered that while parkour felt risky it was also challenging and very fulfilling. To further develop his mind and body for the demands of the sport, Adam trained as a yoga teacher and now uses that discipline to inform his parkour coaching.
He is also a multi-faceted artist — A lifelong guitar player, singer and performer, and an avid photographer and videographer. He loves skating and biking around the city and enjoys picking up new movement skills such as aerial and circus.
“This joyful practice has shown me that I can become stronger and reclaim my body without the feeling of breaking my body into something it isn’t ready for. Yoga has helped me discover new ways to see parkour and ask important questions about why I train parkour and really listen to what my body needs today.”
